Maxine Says This About Minorities
We need to show more sympathy for these people.
They travel miles in the heat.
They risk their lives crossing a border.
They don't get paid enough wages.
They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day, every day.
I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans;
I'm talking about our troops!
Doesn't it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish
all kinds of social benefits on illegal's, but don't support
our troops and their families with sufficient healthcare,
rehabilitation facilities, retraining and education when they return.

Notes: Sometime ago, a veteran made me aware of a radio program that calls veterans, a minority. Along with women and other minorities, the radio show laments and decries the discrimination that veterans face from non-veterans, the U.S. legal system, and agencies that our funded by the U.S. taxpayer to support veterans but don't such as the OFCCP. Why pay millions to discriminate against veterans? The taxpayers are now paying Social Security benefits to illegals that come to work here and then return to their own countries to collect S.S. from the U.S. Notice that Maxine mentions Democrats and Republicans are equally to blame. Equal blame is also mentioned here in "Dream Ticket for 2008."
