It's time to inject some old political humor into this year's election. Since each side believes that the other side is "EVIL" and that their side is "GOOD," each party can pick their own persona from the "Dream Ticket" above. Just remember while I believe that there is little bit of "God" in each and every one of us, St. Augustine proved that there is also a little bit of the "Devil" in each and every one of us. But I digress. I used to eagerly await the arrival of the Bookmobile Library when I was in sixth grade. And the librarian introduced me to "The Little World of Don Camillo." It was on the best seller list of France for 10 years. It is interesting that France and Italy have multiple parties.
Don Camillo represents "Good" and talks to "God" daily and sometimes needs guidance.
Peppone represents "EVIL" and has weapons of persuasion at his disposal.
In addition, Peppone sometimes represents "GOOD" and sometimes wins over Don Camillo who is not perfect.
For those of you who have never read this fun book, I have the pleasure of introducing it to you as follows:

The Great Pretender
(1955)
Lyrics by Buck Ram
Music by Buck Ram
The Great Pretender
Oh-oh, yes I'm the great pretender
Pretending that I'm doing well
My need is such I pretend too much
I'm lonely but no one can tell
Oh-oh, yes I'm the great pretender
Adrift in a world of my own
I've played the game but to my real shame
You've left me to grieve all alone
Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my heart can't conceal
Yes I'm the great pretender
Just laughin' and gay like a clown
I seem to be what I'm not, you see
I'm wearing my heart like a crown
Pretending that you're still around
Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my heart can't conceal
Yes I'm the great pretender
Just laughin' and gay like a clown
I seem to be what I'm not, you see
I'm wearing my heart like a crown
Pretending that you're still around
