I cannot take this anymore. The "SECRET" I alluded to in yesterday's email was an event that happened in 1970 while I was serving my country in Vietnam as a high speed Morse code intercept operator for the Army Security Agency (ASA). I had a Top Secret Crypto Clearance (TSCC) and was working out of the 8th Radio Research Field Station (8th RRFS) in Phu Bai/Hue in support of the 101st Airborne unit at Camp Eagle, the most northerly firebase in Vietnam, approximately 40 miles from the DMZ. Our unit had intercepted a message which was deemed a "CRITIC" (short for "Critical"). These "CRITIC" events or messages must be sent to the President (Tricky Dickey at that time) within 15 minutes. Our "CRITIC" message was that the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) regulars were going to come out of North Vietnam (a rare occurrence) and go into Laos to assassinate the King of Laos. We notified the President, the Director of the National Security Agency (DIRNSA) and the 101st Airborne at Firebase Eagle who ambushed the NVA. This was never released to the press or the public on the basis of National Security. I have a few other interesting tidbits I would like to share with you at this time. About two years ago you had Howard Bennett on your show who was discussing the Jaws anniversary posters and the affect it was having on beach goers in the Venice area. Howard was one of the founding members of Heal the Bay and the founder of the Victims of Lawyers (VOL) known as the Hunt Club. Howard, myself and 136 other individuals were ripped off my Alvin Thomas Hunt a once famous now infamous civil rights lawyer. Of the 136 victims only seven were able to bring charges against Hunt as the statute of limitations had run out on many of them. The seven of us were Grand Jury witnesses against Hunt who was eventually indicted, by the Grand Jury, on 7 counts of fraud which amounted to $40,000.00 to $50,000.00. The Judge who heard the case stated that the most he could find Hunt guilty of was a misdemeanor under some business law. Now if you or I were to rip someone off of $50,000.00 we would be Bubba's roommate in a blink of an eye (American Justice). The sad and unbelievable part is that the State Bar is reinstating Hunt and giving him back his license to practice law (rip off more people). Hunt was also responsible for a major consent decree on the waterfront, where I work, which is even a more interesting story but would take some time to run down all the greed, graft, corruption, abuse of power, obstruction of justice which was perpetrated by Hunt, my employer Pacific Maritime Association (PMA), their law firm, Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher (Gippum, Dumb and Crooked), the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and federal court Judge Robert Takasugi. Well, I have rambled on enough.
