Note: EDS is in the CCR database (Central Contractors Registration) which makes EDS a "Qualified Federal Contractor" under VEVRAA (Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act). A CC-4 complaint and a Non-Compliance complaint can be filed under VEVRAA by all veterans affected by EDS's discriminatory actions. Of course, VETS should be notified of EDS's violations of USERRA (Uniformed Soldiers Employment and Reemployment Rights Act).

Layed off from EDS Jan 15 of 2002. Ten years of service. They changed their severance package from two weeks per year to four weeks max. TWO days before they layed off hundreds of employees. There currently is a class action suit against them. Does the govt. allow contractors to get away with this kind of action? Their reason was that it was to save money in bad times.....but they had just reported record high earnings....look at their earnings and stock they are one of the few companies that have continued to do well after 9-11.
