Dear Scott:
Happy Memorial Day and a hand salute to you in honor of your service and more important for all the work you have done for veterans with VRA and your awesome website. I am very proud of you and honored to be your friend, fellow veteran and VRA member.
I am attaching my most recent letter to Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao, requesting an investigation, by her and her office, of the OFCCP's and VETS's illegal behavior and their failure to perform their mandated, statutory duties and responsibilities.
Please let me know what you think. I appreciate any feedback you can offer before I mail it out on June 1, 2006. Anything you might suggest to add or leave out would help me in crafting a concise and succinct letter.
I am also mailing letters to James (OFCCP), Ciccollela (VETS), Wilson (VETS) and Beadle (VETS) requesting a response to the April 25, 2006 letters I sent to them. I am enclosing a copy of my letter to Chao to each of them. I hope it shakes them up and rattles their cages. I love Raging Against The Machine!!!
I am also sending a copy of the Chao letter to Special Counsel, Bloch, which I hope will motivate him to reconsider his response to my initial letter to him requesting an investigation by his office of the OFCCP and VETS and my follow up letter where I explain how the OFCCP and VETS behavior, conduct and illegal actions meet the criteria of the CFR's which are under his authority and jurisdiction. (Whew! Run on sentence?)
I am mailing you copies of all of these letters.
In the Chao letter I am enclosing Judge Kenyon's Decision, the OIG's Audit from the VRA website, and all the letters I have been sending to James, Ciccollela, Wilson, Beadle and Bloch over the last few months.
Well, have a great day and if you would be so kind to look over the Chao letter and respond at your earliest convenience I will be in your debt.
Peace and Love to You and Your Family,
Wes
