Mr. Brickner:

This responds to your e-mail of March 15, 2006 to William Smitherman, Acting Regional Director, Pacific Region, requesting that Frank Rios or someone else in our office responds to your correspondence concerning your complaint against Pacific Maritime Association.

Please note that we sent you a letter dated March 14, 2006 explaining our position that jurisdiction needs to be established. We have forwarded your complaint to our National Office, which will make a determination on jurisdiction.

As soon as we receive guidance from our National Office, we will notify you whether we have jurisdiction to investigate your complaint.
