Wes Brickner became a long term tenacious fighter for his veteran's workplace rights shortly after returning from Viet-nam. Wes helped name the Veterans Rights Advocates web site that supports the VEVRAA,
VRAA, and USERRA laws. These documents are a listing mostly in chronological order. They delineate a number of efforts by Wes Brickner to obtain his veterans rights in the workplace. Also, they delineate the counter-actions by the government agencies sworn to
defend veterans' rights. We all pay over 1.5 billion dollars in taxes each year to these agencies to do their jobs. However, since the 1940s, not one case can be found in the OALJ (Office of Administative Law Judges) database with a judgment for or against a veteran. What fills the OALJ database are many minority case decisions. According to USERRA laws, if a company that is a federal contractor gives a benefit to a minority employee it must also give that same benefit to employees that are veterans. |
